Senior Events Stylist
Having worked for the NHS for 7 years as a Recruitment Manager, Jess decided it was time to leave her career and start working for her Family’s business so she could focus on her upcoming Wedding Preparations. During this time Jess found her true calling in life.
"I have always been a creative person and I truly fell in love with Floral and Event Design. Both services compliment each other and really can bring a persons personality out through the aesthetics they provide. There are so many elements to look upon when designing someone’s Wedding or Event. I really enjoy providing a truly personal service to my clients by getting to know them and their story. By doing this I can help them in turn tell their story to their guests whether it be through the wedding favours, a colour scheme, floral designs or even a photo wall the possibilities are endless.
I believe the creativity I had during the planning process of my own wedding really ignited my passion for a career in this field. The idea for starting Copper + Bloom as a business really just started out as a project my dad and I had been working on for my Wedding.
We designed, handpicked and created all of the Copper frames we currently have on our website. We are regularly adding more designs to our collection using different materials to created different styled Backdrops.
Family is at the centre of my business and although I may be the company owner it would not be what it is today, without the support of my family! Many of my family members all play a key part in its running. My Husband, Mr Claydon regularly delivers items for Prop Hire. My Mum and my Sister are my sounding boards, they will regularly help with Wedding Fairs, Wedding and Event Set-ups. You will often meet the Sheldon/Claydon family if you choose us to help you style your wedding or event. They are all equally invested into this company and providing the best service to our clients, as am I and that’s what makes me love my job every single day."
